Julie Refnov - Julie Refnov

I was born and raised in Denmark, but have always suffered from a severe case of the travel bug, which have taken me all over the world.

I have worked as a wrangler in the California Mountains, sailed on the Nile in Egypt, climbed Ayers rock in Australia and have a degree in Photojournalism from Northern Arizona University.

Since I was a young girl, I have trained and worked with horses and continue to do so everywhere I go. I believe that horsemanship cannot be learned from one trainer but is acquired through studies of many different horsemen. The best lessons I have had however have been from the horses themselves.

At this point in my life I keep myself occupied by balancing my time between freelance writing, horses, photography and traveling.
